Dear Friends of Southland Sheltie Rescue,
We are writing today to express our gratitude to all of you who make our mission possible. Your generous donations have saved many lives and profoundly enriched still more. Because of you, we have been able to provide veterinary care, physical and emotional rehabilitation, warm soft beds, nutritious food, toys and unconditional love to numerous Shelties who are now in their forever homes. We offer a special thank you to our wonderful foster homes who have had an unusually heavy burden, with many elderly, ill and unsocialized Shelties. They have worked miracles and completely transformed these dogs into happy, adoptable pets.
We are still, as always, in desperate need of volunteers. High on the priority list is the need for more foster homes, help answering phones, people to review adoption applications, and transportation assistance for our dogs.
